In this newsletter we tell you more about another two teams that have been awarded the Healthy Brain Team Science Subsidy. Besides that we introduce a new RA and read more about the use of HBS data or samples in your grant application. Enjoy this newsletter!
211 participants successfully completed the study!
They completed the three repeated assessments. 472 participants are included in the study now and more then 900 assessments have been performed!
The first samples (EDTA plasma) have been issued for pro-inflammatory cytokine analyses for the interdisciplinary study: A real life biopsychosocial health-model - The longitudinal interplay between social functioning and systemic inflammation on mental health and cognitive outcomes.
The cytokine analyses did not require the full available volume of the aliquot EDTA plasma. Please send an email to lucy.overbeek@radboudumc.nl if you want to use 699 samples. It is for free! The samples have been freezed, thawed, and freezed again.
Please inform Lucy Overbeek, so we will have an overview of all the excellent research (plans) with the Healthy Brain Study resource. We need this overview for future investments in the Healthy Brain Study.
Crowdhelix is an Open Innovation platform that forges links between an international network of excellent researchers and innovating companies, so that they can plan and deliver pioneering collaborative projects. Sign up on the platform and join the Healthy Brain Study group. Both Radboud University and Radboudumc encourage to join this network in order to be successful in (Horizon) Europe in the future.
The topic of the Science meets Business meeting on the 2nd of December is Healthy Brains for Healthy Work. In this meeting we share an example of how the Healthy Brain Study resource can be exploited by scientists and companies involved in healthy work.
A substantial part of the Healthy Brain Study participants are recruited by employers that support our study by (partly) compensating the hours of participants and/or communicating about the study. We are glad that the following partners support the Healthy Brain Study.
