New research assistant Marike Hoegen

Marike Hoegen is one of our new research assistents. She introduces herself in this newsletter.

What is your role in the implementation team?

Together with the other research assistants I am responsible for execution of the test days of the Healthy Brain Study. Furthermore, I answer the phone and emails and perform the intake interviews.

What is the added value of the study for you?

I like that Healthy Brain Study is designed by multiple researchers, each an expert in their respective field of brain research. The resulting diversity of experiments during the test days keeps the work challenging and interesting. In my opinion this study is an unique opportunity to contribute to different types of research, both for me and the participants.

What do you look forward to with regard to study and why?

I like working together with the participants to make the test day as interesting and smooth running as possible, while at the same time collecting good quality data. Ultimately, I want to learn more hands-on skills during my time here.
