Judith Mellendijk is one of our new research assistents. She introduces herself in this newsletter.

What is your role in the implementation team?
As a research assistant I supervise people in their thirties who have registered for the Healthy Brain Study. This means that I have contact with the participants during the intake interview and during the test day I guide participants by explaining and taking tests.

What is the added value of the study for you?
The Healthy Brain study is a study in which a lot of different information about people in their thirties is collected in order to gain more insight into how the brain works. Personally, I find it very interesting that the lifestyle of people in their thirties is included, partly because of my background in dietetics.

What do you look forward to with regard to study and why?
I’m looking forward to continue working with all participants and provide them the best experience possible and to collaborate with the Healthy Brain team and other colleagues. I’m also curious about the long term results of this study to better understand the brain functioning.
