New Scientific Board member - José Marques

From now on, José Marques will be a part of the Scientific Board. José will replace Koen Haak, who has made important contributions to the Healthy Brain Study and has moved on to a position at Tilburg University. José will represent the Donders Centre for Cognitive Neuroimaging (DCCN), where he is Associate Principal Investigator and an expert in the field of quantitative magnetic resonance imaging (qMRI), which makes use of the MR scanner as a measurement device rather than a simple imaging device. The HBS offers qMRI data, providing the opportunity to compare tissue properties across the brain and participants, and to correlate them with cognitive biomarkers recorded in the HBS. José hopes this unique resource will be fully exploited by researchers.
